Unit 5 Exam Outline

Part I: gramática en uso

A: You will read a conversation between two people where one gives excuses for why he missed an appointment with the other. You'll need to pick whether to use the preterite or the imperfect and then conjugate the verb (Chapter 5A)

B: You'll need to complete a conversation regarding the news using the verbs Oir, Leer, and Creer (Chapter 5A)

C: You'll complete a similar conversation like part B but will need to use the verbsL Decir, Estar, Poder, Poner, Tener, Traer, and Venir (Chapter 5B)

D: You will need to use the imperfect progressive and the preterit to say what certain people were doing when they got hurt. You'll write what they were doing and then what happened to them (Chapter 5B with vocabulary)

Part II: Comunicación y cultura

A: Escuchar- Listen as people desrcibe how they got heart and record what they were doing, how they got hurt, and what caused the accident that hurt them (Chapter 5B)

B: Leer- You read an article about a traffic accident and must answer questions regarding the article. (Chapter 5B)

C: Escuchar- Listen as people describe what they were doing during a disaster and what happened (Chapter 5A)

D: Escribir: (Worksheet handed at the end of class)

D: Hablar- Talk about your day such as the time you got up, how you were feeling, what the weather was like, what you read or heard in school etc...You'll be answering questions based on the speaking prompt. Follow up questions will be based on your responses.
